From the acquisition of Topic (our award-winning Content Optimization solution) to our biggest year yet in product releases: 2021 has been a landmark year of growth at CafeMedia and AdThrive. As we look ahead to 2022 and beyond, we’re doubling down on our efforts to bring the industry’s best and brightest to our team by welcoming our new EVP of Engineering, Michael Lee, and our new EVP of Product Engineering, John Clyman.
Working with our Chief Product Officer, Evan Simeone, John and Michael will be focused on the rapid growth of new features and products.

Michael brings more than 20 years of engineering experience and nearly ten years in ad technology to his role, having previously held leadership positions at Yahoo, Microsoft, and Indeed. In his new role, he’ll lead our engineering, developer operations, and IT teams and drive the long-term technical vision behind our creator-first mission.
Likewise, John brings more than a decade of industry experience to his new role (joining the team from Magnite, where he was VP, Product Management, and VP, Engineering for Marketplace Quality & Security.) As our new EVP of Product Engineering, John will focus on accelerating our audience development offerings for independent publishers and creators.
With these new additions to our already stellar engineering team, we’re excited to deliver even more for our incredible publishers in 2022.
